Terms and Conditions

Making an accommodation booking  
To make a booking you must be 18 or over. When you book you are accepting Les Ormes terms and conditions.

Our agreement

A contract (our agreement) is formed when we receive the required payment, and you have received the confirmation. 

Required payment means either the required Deposit or the full amount due for your break.

Our agreement incorporates information provided on our website, the confirmation and this agreement (which we sent to you following your telephone reservation or which you accepted online at the time of booking).

Our agreement with you binds you, (the person named on the confirmation), and all members of your party, including children. 

You must ensure that all members of your party are aware of and accept all of this agreement. Our agreement continues until the last member of your party has left the resort, including any extension to your stay.

We will send you, an email confirmation showing the price for your break and any additional charges. It will also detail payments received and due.   

Important information before you book 

Where the majority of the party is under 18 or includes any person(s) who are normally closely supervised, there must be sufficient capable and responsible adults over the age of 18, in every accommodation unit to provide adequate supervision for the party and each member of it. One such identified person must be present for the duration of the break and accept overall responsibility for the whole party, members under the age of 18. The name and contact details of this person must also be confirmed on arrival at the resort. You are responsible for members under the age of 18 at all the time in all parts of the resort: children's play area, restaurant, swimming pools, Jump Jersey, during children’s activities unless stated otherwise.

Information about your party

We have the right to obtain the name of each member of your party before confirming your booking or at any time.

 

Making an accommodation booking for up to 21 days, more than 60 days ahead

You will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit to secure the booking. The total amount payable for your stay will be shown on your confirmation. The balance of your booking (total cost less initial deposit) is due 60 days before your scheduled arrival date. You will be required to pay your balance by logging into your booking via 'My account’ on our website. 

Your Deposit is a non-refundable booking fee covering the administrative costs we incur in processing your reservation.

Alternatively, you may pay the full cost of your break at the point of booking.

 

Making an accommodation booking for up to 21 days, in less than 60 days ahead

Full payment by credit or debit card is required at the time of making your booking

 

Payment confirmation

Please check the details on the confirmation carefully. If any of the details are incorrect you must inform our Reservations Team as soon as possible. You must also ensure that you pay any amount required in accordance with the confirmation payment schedule.

Les Ormes retains the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit and any prepayments if any payment remains overdue. If you fail to arrive on your confirmed arrival date and do not notify us in writing that you will be late arriving, we retain the right to re-sell your accommodation without making any refund to you. 

 

Cancellation

You may cancel your booking at any time. The reservation team needs to be notified in writing about the cancellation.

Cancellation charges for bookings 21 days or less:

receiving the cancellation request straight after booking: 100% of any deposit or any pre-payment already made. 

receiving the cancellation request 60 days before arrival or less: 100% of the full balance of your stay.

Les Ormes has the right to refuse to confirm any reservations. 

 

Making an accommodation booking for 22 days or more 


You will be required to pay a deposit to secure the booking. This deposit is non - refundable due to a cancellation. Otherwise, it will be refunded, less metered electricity, a standard cleaning charge and a cover of a cosy of any damages, at the end of your stay. If you leave early, you will be required to pay the remaining balance of your total stay. Your rent will be due monthly in advance.  Late payments will incur a penalty of £20 per day. If the payment is not received within 10 days after the scheduled date, Les Ormes has a right to cancel your booking.
Your first month's rent must be paid in full no less than 14 days before your scheduled arrival date. If you fail to pay your first month's rent 14 days before arrival, we can cancel your booking. 

Summary of cancellation charges for booking 22 days or more  
After booking - 100% of the balance of your stay    

Summary of electricity and standard cleaning charges for booking more than 22 days only  
Bookings of more than 22 days are required to pay metered electricity re-charged at our standard JEC rate, the total metered electricity charges will be deducted from the deposit you paid on booking.  A standard cleaning charge of (1 bedroom - £50, 1 bedroom with dog - £80, 2 to 3 bedroom - £80, 2 to 3 bedroom with dog - £120, 4 to 5 bedroom - £120, 4 to 5 bedroom with dog - £150) is applied to all bookings. Your unit must be returned reasonably clean this includes all kitchenware returned to cupboards clean, all rubbish removed from the unit and floors left clean, extra cleaning is charged a £20 per hour ( per cleaner ).

Please note hot tubs are not included in long-stay rates.

Your stay will not give rise to any tenancy agreement between us.

All prices quoted are in Pounds Sterling.

Accommodation

You must use your accommodation and its contents with care and leave it in a clean and tidy condition on departure. We reserve the right to charge you for any extra cleaning, missing items or damage.

We reserve the right to enter your accommodation at any time for any reasonable purpose, for example, to make checks, maintenance work or housekeeping. Your occupation is not exclusive.

The maximum number of guests in each accommodation type (as stated on our website) must not be exceeded. If it is, we may move those additional persons to another accommodation unit and will charge you or them the appropriate full charge for the additional accommodation. In some circumstances, we may cancel your booking and ask all members of your party to leave immediately with no refund or compensation.

 

Accommodation pricing

Les Ormes does not offer fixed rates. Our rates depend on availability and demand at the time of the booking. Therefore, prices are subject to change. The agreed price for your break will be quoted when you make a reservation and will be shown on the confirmation. All quotes are valid for 24 hours.

The accommodation price includes:

Use of your accommodation, free guests activities (if available), use of a gym (guests 18+ only), use of Jump Jersey ( 1 session of trampolining / climbing  /soft play a day per person ), use of the outdoor pool. Use of all facilities is subject to availability and opening hours. Activities, sports, swimming pool and restaurant availability may vary, and we cannot guarantee that all advertised facilities will be available at the time of your stay.

 

Additional charges:

Pet charges, food and drinks, housekeeping services, activities not included in your break for example: cycle hire, golf, additional sessions in Jump Jersey and guest packages.

 

If we must change your booking  
Occasionally we need to make changes to bookings after confirmation. Whilst we endeavour not to make changes, we reserve the right to make changes to your booking to correct errors howsoever caused. We will endeavour to inform you of these changes within a reasonable time from us making the change.

Please note we cannot guarantee allocation of specific units.

 

Force Majeure  
We regret we cannot accept liability or pay compensation for cancellation by us due to acts out of our control. Such acts of force majeure would include war, threats or acts of terrorism, fire, flood, fog, storm or natural disaster or break in, criminal damage, epidemics and pandemics or any similar event outside our control.    

 

Behaviour and responsibility for damage to Les Ormes Property  
Les Ormes is a family environment and reserves the right to cancel your booking without a refund at any time after arrival if you fail to respect the quiet enjoyment of other Les Ormes users. You are responsible to maintain the cleanliness of the property during your rental agreement with Les Ormes. You are also responsible for any damage howsoever caused to Les Ormes Property and Les Ormes reserves the right to charge you in full for any damage caused.   

You are responsible for the behaviour of all members of your party. Behaviour should be in keeping with the family environment and should not be aggressive, excessive, noisy or disruptive, especially at night. Offensive or illegal behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in the police being involved. Offensive or aggressive behaviour or language towards our staff is not acceptable. We may ask you and/or any member of your party to leave immediately if your conduct results in police attendance or is considered by us to be inappropriate; likely to cause harm; or impair the enjoyment, comfort or safety of anyone; or is likely, in our belief, to breach any of this agreement. No refunds or compensation will be given in these circumstances, and we reserve the right not to accept any future bookings from you or any member of your party.

 

Death or injury on Les Ormes Property 
Notwithstanding any Jersey statutory provision, we cannot be responsible for any injury or death caused on Les Ormes Property. 

 

Loss or damage to your property   
Notwithstanding any Jersey statutory provision Les Ormes cannot be responsible for the loss of any personal items or goods left or stored on our premises this includes our self-catering units, car-parks, Jump Jersey and public areas. Appropriate insurance is strongly recommended.

 

Complaint and claims  
If you have a complaint, you must inform us as soon as possible in writing. We will endeavour to respond to your complaint within 7 working days If you have booked and paid via an agent or tour operator then you must claim any compensation by way of that agent.  

Please note that we are not responsible for any matter of which you were aware and which you did not bring to our attention during your break. We will not enter into further correspondence on any matter resolved during your break and accepted as such by you.

 

Pet Policy   
Pet friendly accommodation allows up to two dogs only, provided this is agreed by us at the time of booking, you comply with the requirements set out for a pet owner and you pay the appropriate additional charge ( £100 per dog per stay ).

We do not accept any other animals. Your dog must be well behaved, quiet and pose no danger to other guests. Your dog(s) must remain on a lead when outside of your accommodation. You will be charged for any damage or fouling caused by your dog to our property internally and externally. You cannot allow your dog on beds, sofas or furniture or use any of our crockery or utensils for feeding. If you breach any of these policies, we will charge an unlimited amount to replace damaged or soiled items or reasonable cleaning charges. In circumstances where your dog poses a risk or disturbs the quiet enjoyment of other guests, we will ask you to remove your dog from the property immediately, without a refund or a compensation. With the exception of disability assistance dogs, pets are not allowed around pool areas, restaurant areas, jump Jersey and the golf course.

When our staff need to visit your accommodation (eg. if you have requested a maintenance engineer) you take your dog(s) out or keep them in a different room while these visits take place and comply with any specific instructions provided to you. 

 

Departure

You must vacate your accommodation by 10am at the latest on your day of departure. Please return your key/wristbands to the reception.

 

Changing your booking

All accommodation bookings are non-refundable and non-amendable; however, the change of the booking might be accepted once, under the Les Ormes Reservations team discretion. The written request must be sent not later than 2 months before the arrival date. The change of the booking is not guaranteed. Please note that any change of date or accommodation will be likely to involve a change in price of your break. The amendment charge may apply.

You may not, under any circumstances, transfer your booking to anyone without our consent.

 

Noise

Les Ormes is located in a short distance from the Jersey airport, and you may experience noise from such activities from time-to-time. This is beyond our control.

 

Marketing & Loyalty schemes  

Any promotional material whether provided by us or our agents is an offer to treat and cannot form a binding contract. We endeavour to check the accuracy of the information we provide, however, Les Ormes is not liable for any inaccuracies within our own or our agent's information that is supplied to you.  


On and after booking, Les Ormes will send you administrative and promotional emails. Administrative emails are automatically generated and contain important information about your stay. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails. Les Ormes may use SMS to contact you whilst you are on staying or using our facilities.  

 

Data Protection    
Les Ormes may need to hold information about your booking electronically to enable us to fulfil our contract with you. However, after departure, you can request we delete all electronic information that relates to your booking. Les Ormes may send you email information after you have departed from time to time, you can unsubscribe from these emails. See our privacy policy

 

Smoking Policy  
Smoking (including e-cigarettes and vaping) is not permitted in any buildings (including accommodation). Smoking is only permitted in the designated outdoor smoking areas.

 

Safety

You are required to follow any safety advice provided to you.

 

Using Les Ormes facilities 

Separate agreements will be formed for activities and sports not included in the price of your holiday.

A range of facilities and activities which you may purchase separately are detailed in the welcome pack sent to you and on our online booking service. These may be booked before your break or following your arrival at the resort.

All facilities and activities (including those contained within the price of your break) are subject to availability. 

We operate a “first come-first served” policy so we cannot guarantee that you will be able to book a particular facility/activity for a specific time or at all. 

Activities that take place outdoors are provided subject to appropriate weather conditions prevailing at the time the activity is to take place. 

We will not pay compensation where facilities/activities are unavailable or fully booked 

You must ensure that any activity or facility selected by any member of your party is suitable for those who are taking part.


You must use Les Ormes facilities in accordance with guidance and instructions given to you by Les Ormes staff or notified by health and safety signage.  
When using any of the activities in Jump Jersey, including trampolines, soft play, climbing walls, Ninja Warrior and Total Wipeout, children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Failure to abide by this policy may result in your booking being curtailed immediately without refund.

Payment for all pay and play sports and activities
All sports and activities must be paid for in full and all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. On arrival you must check in at a reception prior to going to your activity, bringing with you your customer confirmation and membership card if you are a member. Failure to do may result in us denying you access to our facilities.     

Re-sale of Les Ormes facilities and products 
Les Ormes facilities and products are for the sole use of the person or club booking that facility or activity. You cannot book Les Ormes facilities to resell in whole or part to a third party, without prior permission from Les Ormes in writing. Breaching this term may result in your booking being cancelled without a refund. All third-party providers must provide us with relevant documents in relation to qualifications, health and safety, first aid training, DBS and safeguarding.

Group bookings 
A group booking is 12 people or more and may include sports/facility hire and/or food/beverage in our Les Ormes Brasserie. On booking, we require a deposit of 100% of the estimated value of sports/facility hire, 14 days before your event we require full payment for any food and beverage booked. Any outstanding amount for beverages or extras purchased on the day of your event must be paid in full by credit or debit card on the day. Children's parties must be paid in full on booking. Please note all payments are non-refundable. 

Use of a golf course

Closure of the golf course 
Unfortunately, we cannot offer a monetary refund when the course is closed, closure for circumstances beyond our control include extreme weather or any circumstances where we deem it not safe to play. During inclement weather, the golf will remain open for play. Our strict policy is play come what may. 

If we are required to close the golf course we will issue you with a credit. It is your responsibility to re-book by visiting the main reception or emailing reception@lesormesjersey.co.uk.

Golf memberships
Memberships can be purchased online, once purchased they cannot be cancelled or refunded. You are required to upload a photo of the member before activating your membership, photo ID will be checked on check-in for the slot you purchased using that membership. Memberships are non-transferable, allowing another person to use your membership other than where you have shared it with another golfer for them to make a group booking online on your behalf will render it cancelled without refund. 

Golf no shows
If you book a tee-off time and don’t show up, you will not be entitled to a refund. If you are a 5-day or 7-day member and book and do not show up we will be charge you stored debit or credit card at the full online rate for that slot. Please make sure you check in at the reception before going out on the course. 

Golf dress, footwear and equipment code 
Each golfer must have their own clubs, metal spikes are not permitted on the course or Les Ormes Brasserie. No denim jeans, jackets, shirts or other items of denim clothing, no work clothes or clothes we deem to be inappropriate are to be worn on the course. Strictly collared shirts. 

Golf Buggy hire conditions 
Golf buggy use is subject to course conditions. Golf buggy bookings are only requests and cannot be guaranteed, customers with medical conditions and members will be given priority over buggy use. Any persons wishing to hire a buggy will need to show a valid driving license.

Golf maximum playing time for 9-holes is 2 hours and 4 hours for 18-holes. Please be on the 1st tee at least 10 minutes prior to tee-off time.

Swim school

Securing a swim school place class space
Swimming lessons must be paid for in advance. 

Refund of swim classes policy 
Unfortunately, we cannot give refunds or credits for unused classes. The exception to this is where the swimmer has a certificated illness at the time of the lesson. In these circumstances, you will be required to produce a valid medical certificate. Notwithstanding this, all credits are at the discretion of Les Ormes.

Terms applying to Jump Jersey

Age restrictions
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult this adult is deemed to be the child’s parent, guardian or carer and must be a person aged 18 years or over. Children under the age of 12 must be supervised at all times within the below adult to child ratios;

Ages 5 years to under 12 years old, inclusive one adult to no more than 5 children. Newborn to 5 years inclusive, one adult to one child.

Please note children under 8 years must be accompanied by adults in the toilet areas.

Attire for using Jump Jersey Equipment
You must wear Jump Jersey socks with rubber grips at all times when using Jump Jersey Trampolines, Ninja Warrior and Total Wipeout. Training shoes must be worn when using Jump Jersey Climbing Arena. Regular socks must be worn for Jump Jersey's toddler and adventure soft play areas. Suitable attire must be worn at all times when using Jump Jersey equipment.

Weight restrictions
You will not be able to use Jump Jersey equipment if you exceed the manufacturers recommends a maximum weight for that piece of equipment

· Trampolines, max weight 120KG (18 Stone)

· Climbing arena, you must be over 15kg under 120kg

Medical conditions
You must not use Jump Jersey equipment if you have one of the following conditions unless cleared to do so by your GP. We reserve the right to prevent you from using Jump Jersey equipment where we reasonably believe you may have one of these conditions and cannot show documentary evidence from your GP that you are medically fit to use Jump Jersey Equipment.

· Circulatory conditions

· Heart or lung conditions

· Recent surgery

· Back or neck conditions (including rodded back and brittle bones)

· High blood pressure

· Spine, musculoskeletal or head injury

· Pregnancy

Les Ormes is an inclusive business, however, your safety and wellbeing is our priority, therefore; Customers with Down’s Syndrome and neck instability prior to taking part in such activities, will be asked to obtain evidence that a GP or paediatrician has screened them using the screening test developed by the British Gymnastics Association for Atlanto-Axial Instability. Approval for participation signed by the GP or paediatrician shall be provided before taking part in any trampolining activities.

Customers with Achondroplasia (disproportionate Dwarfism) should not participate in trampolining as it is not recommended to perform gymnastics skills that involve repeated jumping or rebounding.

Height Restrictions 
Minimum, and in some circumstances, maximum height restrictions apply:

· Ninja Warrior Course minimum of 1.2 metres

· Total Wipeout Machine minimum of 1.2 metre

· Airbag Jump Tower minimum of 1.2 metres

· Climbing area (including Power Tower and Stairway) minimum 1 metre

· Adventure soft play area maximum of 1.4 metres

· Toddler trampoline area maximum of 1.2 metres

Standards of behaviour You and those under your control must act in a way that does not endanger yourself or others. You must follow and obey all reasonable instructions given by Jump Jersey staff. Your general behaviour and that of persons under your control must not spoil the peaceful enjoyment of other Jump Jersey users.

Breach of term and conditions
If you breach any of Jump Jersey’s terms and conditions, you will be asked to leave Jump Jersey with immediate effect without a refund.

Jump Jersey no show 
If you book a slot with your membership and don’t check in for that slot, we will charge your stored debit or credit card at the full online rate for that slot. Please make sure you check in at the Jump Jersey reception and view the briefing session before you start your activity. 

The Contract  
All contractual obligations arising from this contract come into existence in Jersey and are subject to the jurisdiction of the Jersey Courts. 

Swimming Pools

No alcohol may be consumed before entering any of our swimming pools, Glass bottles are not to be taken out of your accommodation into any of the pool areas. Our staff have the right to ask you to leave should you be causing a disturbance or suspected of being under the influence of alcohol.
